  • Advisor works with you until you secure an internship, at which point matching process ends
  • This can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months
• Program Begins
  • The program starts with move-in and orientation

Deadlines

You can apply to Engage Chicago 2026 by one of three deadlines. We accept applicants from each deadline, but earlier applicants receive priority consideration in our rolling admissions process. (Please submit applications before 11:59pm CT on each of the indicated deadlines for consideration in that round). Applications received after the final deadline will be reviewed as space permits.

Eligibility

We welcome applicants from any college or university who will have completed at least one year of school by the start of the program. Engage Chicago primarily serves undergraduate students, as EC students are required to complete an undergraduate Chicago Field Studies course as a part of the program. Applications from graduate & professional studies students may be considered as space permits in the cohort.
